Officers have been conducting proactive patrols on Union Street in the Northern Quarter to address ongoing concerns around anti-social behaviour. During these patrols, one male was detained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. A search of the individual resulted in the discovery of controlled substances, including cocaine, pregabalin, and tramadol.

The male has since been charged and will attend court in due course. Officers will continue to maintain a high-visibility presence in the area, proactively monitor activity, and take action to disrupt any anti-social or criminal behaviour.
